Create the perfect placement grid with this marking tool – NOT FOR STITCHING.
Prepare quilt blocks and borders with exact alignment markings with the Basic Marker 4″x12″ or Basic Marker 12″x12″.
Marking slots will accept several brands of markers, pens and chalk liners. Slots are spaced at 1″ increments with 1/4″ lines between them. Diagonal lines aid in angled placement. Two edges of the tool show measurements 0-12″ and two side have Center indicators of 0-6″ in each direction for precision alignment.

I don’t know how I marked lines on borders without this Basic Marker Tool. I know my lines were never this accurate. I just completed my Christmas quilt with three borders where I spaced out hearts and stars. This marking tool is so easy to use and has plenty of lines to guide you.
